Decision-Maker Trainings were cohosted with ULI in 2022 and 2023.

Decision-Maker Training 1.0 in March 2022 focused on equipping decison makers with the knowledge to engage with the housing element update process more meaningfully and have the confidence to adopt Housing Elements.

Decision-Maker Training 2.0 in November 2022 ensured that decison makers better understood specific implementation strategies/zoning tools and programs that will help jurisdictions achieve development of housing at variety of income levels to meet RHNA goals including affordable housing overlay, inclusionary policies, local density bonus, and affordable by design.

Decision-Maker Training 3.0 in September 2023 addressed ways to facilitate expanding housing choice and accesss for housing element implementation. There were also breakout innovatation sessions to allow decison makers the chance to learn about specific housing solutions.
